TAR DUSSHEHRA
Bastar Dussehra is the unique cultural traditional festival celebrated among the tribals in a very different way, they praise the goddess" Danteshwari mai" I remember that, I have been witnessing this festival since I used to be so small all we did was waited for "Rath" to come and we watched "raja" Waving hands towards the peoples . Which made it whole a thing to never forgetting moment was tribals pulling the hand made Rath by there own.
I have seen people's of bastar celebrating this festival with extreme excitation and great sense of worship towards goddess Danteshwari mai .
I wonder how these legacy and format of celebrating this festival is continued to happen till today.
Every small tradition whether it b decorations or etables , fruits, flowers, sports, and other believes are followed till today. This makes me feel like wondering more and more to this festival and place.
Palace is decorated all it's prince 🤴 comes to attend and is praised by people's zamidars and other place holders are also praised .

On the ninth day, the Raja of Bastar welcomes goddess Danteswari who comes to the entrance of the city in a doli or palanquin. The tenth day of the festival is called dussehra when the Raja organizes a darbar where people come and present their requests. Also aarti ceremony is held on the last day of dussehra.
